Cleaning Ability
The Z5i’s cleaning ability is on par with what you’d expect from a pool robot of this price.
It scrubs and vacuums the entire pool, removing algae, sand, leaves and all kind of debris. It easily replaces your pool boy or pool cleaning service.
If anything, it cleans better than a human. It’s also much better than traditional suction or pressure side automatic cleaners.
Here’s what makes the Oasis Z5i such a good pool cleaner.
For one, it’s powerful.
The dual drive motors drive the robot across the floor, over obstacles, and up the walls. It scrubs your pool up to the waterline.
To scrub the pool clean, it uses two brushes that remove algae, and other debris stuck on the wall and floor.
Powerful suction then vacuums up the debris through the dual filtration system.
Why dual filters?
To make sure it doesn’t leave any debris behind. It captures coarse, fine and ultra-fine particles, leaving the water pristine and reducing the number of chemicals you need to use.
Having dual filters comes with another advantage. By separating large and fine debris, it reduces the risk of clogging.
This greatly improves filtration efficiency and performance.
The filter cartridge is extra-large. It easily holds an entire cycle’s worth of debris.

How it Works
The Oasis Z5i is equipped with CleverClean™ Technology, a scanning and mapping software that allows the robot to calculate the most efficient route around your pool.
Even if it encounters an obstacle, it’s able to go back to its path.
CleverClean™ also ensures the robot to cover every inch of the pool.
For improved navigation, the Oasis Z5i moves on treads rather than wheels. They give it more grip on slippery surfaces and are especially helpful when it is going up the wall.
The robot cleaner requires no setup. You only need to set up the power station somewhere near the pool, plug it into a GFCI outlet and then put the robot in the water.
Press the on button, and the robot does the rest.
It doesn’t have a ‘cartridge full’ indicator, but you don’t need it anyway. The cartridge is big enough to hold debris from a single cleaning session.

This feature is found in most premium Dolphin pool robots. It allows the robot to operate each tread independently.
This allows it to make a 360-degree turn with little effort and within a tight radius.
A normal pool cleaner would need to make a big circle to make an about turn. That’s not possible in corners and other tight places.
